Why include the evening show
The Sound & Light Show at Cellular Jail presents the story of India’s freedom struggle in the setting of the National Memorial. It works best as the final fixed event of a Sri Vijaya Puram sightseeing day rather than something squeezed between transfers.
Choose the session for your date
The official e-Tourist portal publishes evening sessions with language and show-day patterns that can vary. Ask for the current session and seat availability for your date instead of relying on an old screenshot or timetable.
Plan the day around it
If you also want to visit the Cellular Jail museum/complex in daylight, keep enough time between the daytime visit and evening reporting. Do not schedule the show too close to a late ferry arrival or airport transfer.
Before you book
- Confirm show date, language and reporting time.
- Keep the booking confirmation/ticket available on your phone and carry the identification required for your travel arrangements.
- Reach with enough buffer for entry and seating.
- Check current cancellation/rescheduling conditions before payment.
Check the operating site, slot and eligibility
Cellular Jail Light & Sound Show can depend on weather, permitted operating site and supplier conditions. Current meeting point, eligibility and price are confirmed before payment.
Request a current activity option
Choose the experience, island, date and traveller mix. Operation, slot, eligibility and current supplier rate are confirmed first.
