Day 2

Pre-dawn departure for Shoal Bay forest birding, followed by a midday rest. Continue to the Ograbranj wetland area in the late afternoon. Night birding is kept optional so fatigue and weather can be assessed on the day.

Early start for forest-edge and coastal birding around Chidiya Tapu and the Biological Park area. Break during the hottest part of the day, then resume in the afternoon. Dusk is useful for a final session before returning to the hotel.

Morning forest birding around the Mount Manipur sector, using only currently open trails. Return along the coast with stops where safe and practical for shorebirds and kingfishers.

Use the final full day to revisit the site most useful for species missed earlier. The guide can choose wetlands, forest edge or coastal habitat according to the group’s sightings, weather and access.
